Deployed, it's a lightweight 635 gram (22.4oz), stretchy, 3-layer waterproof / breathable overpant.  When stashed away into its integrated drop pocket, it prioritizes pack space, fitting easily into your backpack or tail bag, so it's there when you need it from day rides with questionable weather to extended ADV trips.
