At 635 grams (22.4oz) The Barfly Microshell 3L overpant is our lightest waterproof pant. It blends 2-way stretch 20D Stretch Nylon with 4-way 160D Stretch Nylon reinforced knees and lower leg to balance weight and packability with durability where it counts. It is the perfect way to add waterproof protection and extend the performance range of our Woodman, Kiger, or Surveyor Pants (or any other non-waterproof pant, for that matter). The full zip overpant design allows you to change as quickly as the weather. Silicone gripper elastic cuffs fit securely around the boot to seal out the wind and weather. When not in use the Barfly stuffs into an integrated drop pocket to easily stash away until you need it. Even fair-weather trips have their moments.
