Job Title:
Accounting & Administrative Coordinator

We’re a company of 16 enthusiasts, passionate about designing and producing the best adventure motorcycling luggage and apparel available. Since we were established in 2003, our accounting needs have grown with the business. We’re currently looking for an Accounting & Administrative Coordinator, to support the Controller and General Manager with the bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative functions. This person must be highly detail-oriented, honest, and dependable. As a dynamically growing business, we also rely on everyone to be adaptable and self-motivated, capable of working and problem-solving independently.

Mosko Moto is located in the Columbia River Gorge, and preference will be given to someone local to the area, or willing to commute to White Salmon, WA on an as-needed basis for meetings. This is currently a part-time position, but there may be potential to transition to full-time in the future.

Responsibilities will include the following:

General Accounting
• Weekly reconciliation of bank statements
• Prepare manual journal entries for various accounting transactions
• Assist with month-end closing
• Prepare account reconciliations and analytical review of various balance sheet and income statement accounts

Accounts Payable
• Maintain vendor master listing
• Provide timely and accurate payment processing and vendor account reconciliation
• Input credit and debits to the accounting system in support of the payables work
• Perform annual 1099 reporting
• Manage employee credit cards and expense tracking.
• Process Accounts Payable paperwork at completion of the payment run

Account Receivable
• Process Debit and Credit memos for accounts
• Apply customer payments

• Sort mail and scan invoices & statements
• Reorder supplies, and assist with other administrative tasks as needed

The successful candidate:
• Possesses accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Values and demonstrates honesty, integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Proactively develops and improves business processes, driving accuracy & efficiency
• Experience with QuickBooks, but company will be moving to NetSuite
• Proficient in Excel, Word and other office products
• Degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent business experience

Job Title:
Customer Service Representative

Mosko Moto is hiring!

Are you an extroverted gearhead, who loves the culture of moto? Or an outgoing adventurer, who has yet to experience exploration by motorbike? Either way, we might be your people!

We’re a company of 16 enthusiasts, and we’re looking for a full-time Customer Service/Warranty person. You’d be joining a small team that acts as the first point of contact for our customers, responding via email, phone, chat, and in-person appointments.

Here’s some more info about us - who we are, what we’re about, and why we’re obsessed with adventuring by motorcycle:

Ideally, you’re already an active member of the ADV moto community, have CS or Retail experience, and live in the Columbia River Gorge (or want to relocate). We might be flexible on some of that stuff, but we will need you to be focused & organized, a great communicator, and capable of juggling a fast-paced small business environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop & maintain a deep knowledge of Mosko Products, dual-sport motorcycles, and the sport of ADV riding.
- Develop & maintain a strong technical knowledge of our website, e-commerce backend systems, and communication systems.
- Act as a first contact point for all customer inquiries via email, phone, chat, and showroom appointments.
- Work closely with the CS team - which is split between the US and EU - as well as R&D and Marketing, to communicate customer inquiries, feedback, and issues.
- Creatively and efficiently problem-solve operational issues with our e-commerce platform, our warehouses, and shippers.
- Manage customer returns, exchanges, and warranties by processing requests in a timely manner
- Fulfill other Administrative, Customer Service, and Sales duties as assigned.

- 1+ Years of Customer Service, Sales, or Retail experience
- Fluency in a second language is a plus

Position Requirements:
- Local residence in the Columbia River Gorge, and/or willingness to relocate or work remote from the Portland area.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Strong keyboarding and computer acumen
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Availability to work extended hours during the busy/peak/holiday seasons. Some travel for trade shows may also be required.
- Readiness to share perspectives, follow directions, learn, and be a team player
- Organized & thorough, but efficient approach to work
