I love my Strata Marino zip off thermals. Why didn’t I think of this idea. They are a fantastic addition to my cool riding weather kit. Watch the YouTube video on how to take them off - and just do the opposite to put them on without ever taking off your riding pants or your protective boots:)
I saw a pair of zip-off long underwear similar to these made by a prominent hunting brand and thought it looked like a great idea for changing weather conditions, but balked at the $150 price tag.
When I found these by Mosko, I bought them with fingers crossed that they wouldn’t be a cheap imitation. So far, so good. Only worn them a few times, but very warm and comfortable, which I fully expect from anything made with merino wool. The zips work as advertised. Drop trou and they’re off in seconds, and pack small enough to fit in a riding jacket pocket, or almost any bag or compartment on the motorcycle.
Don’t know about the durability because I haven’t owned them long enough so four stars instead of five. Oh, and I will be wearing them during hunting season, too, and any other outdoor activity during changing temps, which is common where I live in Idaho when I am constantly going up and down in elevation.
Being only %5 body fat I need added insulation playing in the rockies. Temperature swings are significant stripping layers easy/quick. Keeps me hiking/riding longer.
Just used this on a ride in Arizona. Really comfortably and fits great under my knee pads. Breaths well and works great in cold and warm riding conditions.
These merino thermal pants are wonderful. They’re light, keep me warm in cold temperature and cool in warm ones. On top of chasing odours away. I love them.
