The new Alpine 30L Duffle is a lightweight, 100% waterproof roll-top dry bag. Universally mounting to any tail rack with our optional Alpine Cinch Straps, the Alpine 30L Duffle compliments rack-mounted panniers or rackless systems with an additional 30 liters of storage in a minimalist design package. Pair with our Alpine Pannier Kit for a lightweight, high capacity adventure touring setup designed to prioritize weight-saving performance in technical terrain.

DESIGN

The Alpine 30L Duffle refines the successful design elements of our popular Scout 30L Duffle, with weight saving materials and construction. It has a wide opening, easy access roll-top design that allows ample room to access your packed gear. Constructed from 100% waterproof DWR-coated 420D nylon 66 ripstop and 840D TPU-coated nylon fabric, the Alpine 30L Duffle is robust but lightweight, with reinforced ends/bottom for added abrasion resistance.

The unique beavertail design has reinforced mesh zipper pockets on one side, and five columns of Hypalon MOLLE webbing on the other, allowing expansion and customization with an assortment of optional MOLLE accessories. The beavertail provides a convenient place to tuck a jacket during the day, or to store wet/dirty things like a rainfly, tarp, or towel.

The integrated backpack straps deploy quickly and easily, allowing you to carry the duffle through airports for fly-to-ride trips, or to pack your gear into hotel rooms on trips. When not in use, the backpack straps stash flat in an external pocket, or can be removed entirely and left at home. Two easy-grab carry handles provide options for hauling, loading, and unloading the duffle in travel scenarios.

The Alpine 30L Duffle universally mounts on any tail rack via cinch strap that securely loop through two pass-throughs on each side of the bag, aiding in secure retention. The pass nylon pass-through loops allow the duffle to stay securely attached in rougher terrain that can cause some tail bags squeeze out of their straps.

Alpine 30 L

I am using this waterproof bag mounted directly on the tail of my KTM 390. The size materials and workmanship are excellent and I am looking forward to buying the matching bags to go with it.

Robust and versatile

This bag has the build quality and attention to detail I would expect out of a premium brand. All the seams and stitching are on point, and the materials, from fabrics to fasteners, seem rugged. I love the metal buckles for both the bag and straps, secure but still operable with gloves. The backpack straps have been surprisingly useful and stow away so cleanly that the first time I went to use them I thought maybe they hadn't been included. If I have a criticism, it's that the beavertail flaps are almost too big. The MOLLE panel kind of mandates it though. However, if you want to strap it down empty (at 30L, this is my go-to every day bag) to fill as you run errands or something, it covers all the normal attachment points on the bag. I understand that I may be committing sacrilege by using an ADV, moto-camping, off-road-ready bag for my day-to-day as well weekend excursions, so perhaps I am at fault for using it for outside the intended purpose.

I purchased the Alpine 30L Duffle. I love the flexibility of mounting options. I like how doubles as a backpack too. Great product.

Alpine 30 l Duffle

I have used other manufacturers duffles for years, one of them I destroyed when their fasteners failed on a recent trip to Baja. I love the quality of this duffle and fasteners are top notch. I ride off road to many destinations and I intentionally purchased this bag to ensure my luggage is secure and will be with me when I arrive.

Alpine 30 & 50 L bags are great!

I have a 30l and 50l bag. Both are excellent. Light weight yet strong and waterproof. Good colours. Excellent customer service.
