Secure your rear duffle or pannier topper to your bike with our Alpine Cinch Straps. There are no elastic or plastic parts to break or stretch on a long trip—just high-tensile ribbed webbing and quick release Atlas buckles.
*Priced and sold as a pair.
DESIGN
These two-piece straps quickly connect to the bike using lanyard loops, and they also have adjustable-length tails, so they'll work on everything from a large high-capacity duffle to a small pannier topper. They include strap keepers, so your excess strap lengths won't flap around in the wind, and the buckles have a webbing backing to prevent damage to the bag/bike.
FEATURES
Quick release anodized aluminum Atlas buckle
Two-piece design with adjustable tail.

Construction & Materials

Every strap can do the job. Each could have a feature that meets your demand differently. I purchased these for two of their features. As advertised, these straps don’t have a plastic clip that can break.
Secondly, and the reason I opted to try them, the cinch at both ends. Unlike my current straps (thyme with “Rok Strap”), these straps can be lengthened or shortened at either end.
I strap a dry bag length-wise on the rear of my GS. The straps pass through a panel on the top of the dry bag. Because I can adjust the length at both ends, I can keep the buckles near the luggage bar they’re secured to. As a result, I can disconnect the straps easily from the kick stand side. Because the Rok straps only had one end that adjusted, I couldn’t keep the buckle portion where I wanted it.
Nice solution.
The metal buckles work very well, disconnect much easier than I thought: gentle pressure on the correct spot snaps the buckles apart. No issues. Works perfect each time so far. I’ll see how they wear through the riding season.
