The Composite Jacket is our waterproof, breathable, CE-B rated shell, designed for dualsport and ADV riding. Lightweight and packable, it’s built to layer over separate body armor, offering protection from weather and abrasion.
The all-new Composite Jacket integrates key features from our Basilisk and Rak Jackets, built for use with separate armor and engineered into a light, packable, waterproof shell with CE-B rated abrasion resistance and plenty of airflow.
Designed for active ADV riding in variable weather, the Composite Jacket functions as a quick-access outer layer—developed to block wind and rain when conditions shift, and add abrasion protection over your base kit when you need it.
The Composite Jacket is positioned between our Rak Jacket, but with a full front zip and more abrasion protection, and a lighter, more packable version of our Basilisk Jacket, but with no integrated armor. (Our working name while designing and testing it was the Rakalisk!)
This jacket is constructed from light and durable eVent Expedition 3-Layer waterproof fabric, with Direct Venting™ technology and 3L 20mm fully taped-seam construction; and water-resistant YKK Aquaguard® Vislon® front zipper with storm flap adding to the waterproof build. The design achieves 30k/10k waterproofing, with 0.06 cfm air permeability, and has a high-performance PFAs-Free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, all in a lightweight and easily stowable package.
Not just a packable rain layer, the CE-B certified Composite provides riders with abrasion protection by incorporating 500D stretch Cordura® reinforcement panels across the shoulders and arms. The articulated, anatomical fit and stretch fabric prioritize mobility and active riding body position, while torso adjustment panels, Cohaesive® neck and waist adjusters, and gusseted hook and loop closure cuffs allow you to dial in the fit and feel over your separate body armor.
Flow through ventilation is provided by bicep and back mesh-lined zippered vents, plus the collar can be snapped back and anchored in the open position to allow more airflow with the front zipper partially unzipped. The Composite's design allows plenty of options to dial in ventilation based on riding style, terrain, and weather.
Flapped, drop-in cargo pockets on the front provide easy access to items while on the bike—great for stashing snacks, phone, a small camera, and other items needing quick access. Two zippered hand pockets and two zippered chest pockets round out the jacket design for six total pockets.
The removable, adjustable hood provides the option for an extra barrier against the elements on and off the bike, with glove friendly Cohaesive® adjusters, making it easy to shore up any potential wind flap in the hood while riding.
The back panels, sleeve, and logo details feature reflective treatment for higher visibility under lights during night riding.
Our apparel is designed to fit true to size over body armor – no need to size up; we've done the math for you.
DV Expedition, eVent's burliest waterproof membrane, provides the ultimate in durability and all-weather protection. Delivering dry comfort in the widest range of conditions and providing the greatest waterproof protection without sacrificing air permeability. At its best when the conditions are at their worst.
500D stretch Cordura® reinforcement panels provide abrasion resistance in critical areas, designed to complement separate armor.
The Composite Jacket features flow-through bicep and back vents to maximize cooling for demanding off-road riding.
The Composite Jacket features reflective logos and trim details, providing bright reflective accents on your kit to maximize visibility at night.

Perfect Jacket, thank's Roel ‼️‼️
Great light-weight, yet durable waterproof jacket. I used this on a ride from Haines, AK through the YT, BC, and AL, back to WA. The weather varied from 43° and raining to mid 90°. It was great to be able to shed that outer layer on the hotter days, but have it tucked into the beaver tail when I needed it.
After two weekends of ADV riding with this Composite Jacket i just say wow. It's in the sweet spot! Pack small, feels light. Compared to the Rak it feels a half size step down in same size. A tad tighter over the shoulders It has a roomier hood. It vents better than any other jackets I have ried.
Stood up to 2 hours of heavy rain. All pockets dry as well. Love the color off bike, have used to and from work and every day use could have been done in a high vis color as well.
My best recommendation!
Wenn I Got the jacket the color was not that right for my eyes so i return it back.
Hello,
A few days ago I received my order (Composite jacket Olive L and Jackaloft Black XL) from Mosko Moto in good order and to my complete satisfaction. My measurements: 174 cm length - chest 107 cm - waist 100 cm - hip 103 cm - shoulder circumference 120 cm - arm length according to MM 82 cm. In my base layers Graph Ultralight and Strata Merino and Workhorse jerseys and Surveyor Softshell jacket in combination with the LEATT 5.5 body protector jacket I wear size L. I took the Jackaloft Insulation jacket in XL because I was of the opinion that it would absolutely not fit under my body protector jacket LEATT 5.5 and that I would therefore have to wear it over it. Over it, size XL is fine, to my great surprise, due to its thin construction, it also fits under my body protector jacket. So "by chance" I can now chose to wear it over or wear it under . A nice plus! The Composite jacket in size L fits perfectly over the entire package mentioned above. And also important, if I only wear a polo shirt under Jackaloft or Composite jacket it looks quite casual for off the bike. I haven't tested it yet, but assuming these are made by real off-roaders for off-roaders I trust it is the ideal jacket between the Rak and the Basilisk. Thanks again Mosko Moto.
