Tenere 700 rear racks

A awesome product from OBMT, easy install, work great with Mosko Panniers.
These are Version 1 racks & they do not work with the Camel ADV fuel cell.
Be sure to order Version 2 that do work with the Camel ADV fuel cell.
Version 1 the left side pillion mount is welded higher than Version 2.

Outback Motortek BMW Pannier Rack

Purchased this rack to allow for fitment of the 35L panniers from Mosko. All arrived without damage. Installation instructions were good; Outback has a decent YouTube video for installation. In regard to installing the exhaust side rack, I found it much easier to loosen and remove the tail pipe on the 2016 GS to access the bolt to mount the rack than to attempt to use a torx bit and wrench for the very stubborn to remove bolt. A few extra minutes prevented accidentally stripping the bold, bashing my knuckles and becoming unduly frustrated. I removed all hardware to apply blue threadlocker; a few extra minutes here can save headache with hardware falling off randomly. I cannot speak to the crashworthiness of the rack as I have only just installed them, but they seem firm enough to me. Price point was good on the rack.

Good and affordable rack to fit MOSKO pannier bags

I bought two 35L Backcountry and the 40L Duffle bag and the Fotothek Pannier Rack for my BMW R1250GS.

The Motortek Rack is well priced, well made, has nice welds and fitted perfectly on my R1250GS.

For more comfortable installation on my new bike i had to unmount the exhaust what is a metter of minutes rather than to do the suggested way using a 8mm wrench and the right torx bit.
I tried to use the in the installation video suggested 8mm wrench and the torx bit method to reach the bolt, but on my GS the footrest bolts where so tight that i risked to damage the torx head of the bolt as the access is very tight.
So i decided to pull the exhaust and use a ratchet and the right torx socket and came loose easily.
Reassebmbling all you need to tighten the footrest bolt just a bit, swing the rack away to gain access to the upper exhaust bolt, tighten it and then swing the rack back in position and tighten the footrestholder bolt with the 8mm wrench and the torx bit.
The problem is only loosen the bolt as he is/can be very tight, lock it with a drop if Loctite will be enough tight to become loose by itself.

This problem may be limited to my bike, however as unmountig the exhaust is so simple i suggest to use this method.

Pannier Rack - Triumph

You’ve all asked who makes the best pannier racks, and we finally have that answer for you. It’s Outback Motortek.

Their racks are beautifully engineered, super rugged, and installation is a breeze. Constructed of mild steel, they bend rather than crack during a crash. In the unlikely event that you do manage to break one, it’s easy to find a shop that can weld mild steel – no matter where in the world you go down.

Mosko’s Outback Motortek racks come finished in long-lasting black powder coat, and the best part is that they’re fully compatible with our Backcountry and Scout panniers.
