Navigator Cell Phone Pocket

I want to love it

A great product for small phones. I have a Note 9 from Samsung, which back in the days was a huge phone. Today it's pretty standard.

The pocket is basically a little narrow and way too short. The top covers a few sensors making the phone, occasionally, useless. It also blocks the bottom sensor, so controlling the phone is difficult.

The doesn't mean the product is bad. It has a ton of amazing features, like the velcro in the bottom for easy on and off mounting, great protection, charging port and so on.

Making a long story shorter, don't buy it if you have a big phone, do buy it if you have a smaller sized phone.

Jacket Review

Their stuff is awesome and the quality and durability are amazing. Basilisk jacket was plenty cool on my 80 deg adv. rally last weekend. Super light.

Would love pockets to add armor though.

Really wanted to love this

I ride a Triumph Tiger 900 and I've been on about 5 off-road rides in the past 2 months with the Navigator Cell Phone Pocket strapped to the Pico Tank Bag. Also have a Ram X-Mount mounted on the handle bars and have had an iPhone's image stabilizer chip be damaged from vibrations totally borking the camera so I really wanted this solution to work. My new iPhone is an 11 Pro Max. It fits in the pocket. You do have to trim the included spacer so it will slide into the pocket and not move around. However, it still slides to the back of the pocket when riding which is annoying because then the top part of the phone isn't visible and that's where the directions usually are. I'll probably look to add some foam spacer at the top to stop that sliding but it be nice not to have another piece. (BTW, I also tried to roll/fold the internal spacer sleeve but it usually comes undone and the phone slides to the top with speed or bumpy trails).

The other issue is the phone position (mostly lying flat) and the sun. So I do roll the cover to get the phone up to a bit of an angle from simply lying flat but it isn't enough to deal with the glare of the sun. Handlebar mounted phones are vertical and the sun isn't an issue in reading them but you have the vibration issue. With the Navigator pocket i have to make sure my sun visor is up (would be really hard if wearing sun glasses) and use a hand to shield the phone from the sun to be able to read the screen. This would be that big a deal when off road and there aren't many turns/directions but it's a pain when riding highways or thru cities.

Also the pocket's screen reduces visibility even though the touch screen works well. I'd rather have some kind of RAM X-Mount on the pico tank bag with the phone's screen fully exposed. But I'd also rather have the phone closer to a vertical standing position (or maybe 45 degree angle would be good enough) so I don't have to use a hand to shield the phone to be able to see it (often when making a turn you need to gear down and need that hand to work the clutch).

I'm still trying to make the Navigator Pocket work for me but it's an incomplete product -- not on par with other Mosko products like the Pico Tank Bag and the Backcountry Panniers which are great.
