The Outback Motortek Honda CB500X heat shield is designed to offer protection for Mosko panniers by keeping them away from the exhaust muffler in order to avoid direct contact.
Made of 4mm thick aluminum.
Important note: Due to the shape and location of the original Honda exhaust muffler, your Mosko pannier may be exposed to extreme heat. The Outback Motortek heat shield’s primary purpose is to keep Mosko panniers from coming in contact with the exhaust muffler, not to deflect exhaust fumes. A solution may be to upgrade to a shorter aftermarket exhaust muffler or the installation of a downward deflector.
