TENT POLE BAG

Color
Black

Our Tent Pole Bag is a welded-seam, roll-top drybag designed to replace the flimsy bag that came with your tent. We carry our tent poles separately from our tent, because it makes the whole thing much easier to pack. However, when the poles are stored on the outside of your luggage, they tend to wear holes through the OEM bag, allowing tent stakes and poles to escape. Our tent pole bag solves those problems.

DESIGN

Many of us store our tent poles separately from our tent, which makes the tent itself much easier to pack. However, when the poles are stored on the outside of your luggage, the tent poles tend to vibrate against the inside of the OEM bag and wear holes in the material over time, which allows tent stakes and poles to escape. Our tent pole bag resolves those problems.

FEATURES

The tent pole bag can be connected to the daisy chains on the inside of the Reckless 80 beavertail, or to the daisy chains on the top of the Backcountry 30 Duffle v2.0, or to any other bag or luggage rack with lash-down points. It includes two webbing attachment straps.

Note: this bag is designed for 1-3 man backpacking tents. It may not fit tent poles for larger family-size and/or expedition tents.

Not what was advertised

Nothing wrong with this product if I had known I was ordering this product. I was waiting for a restock of the orange tent pole bag that was like the one in the video with the side slots and the straps. Instead I was informed that due to circumstances I couldn’t get the orange but I could get the black. I was disappointed that I couldn’t not get the orange however, I was still ok with getting the black one like the one in the video with a 10% discount. That said that’s not what I was sent. I was sent a black tent pole bag without the slots on the side and only some straps not like the one in the video. And now I have to secure it in a wired way with the alpine straps instead of how I had planned with the one shown in the video. I think I may have been sent an old model or something.

A company like no other

I recently rode cross country on my 1250 GS from Maine to Cape Flattery and many points in between in both directions. My bags of choice for the past few years had been Lone Rider. They’re good bags and they served me well, however after a few years they began to delaminate and break down. Somewhere in Oregon, I bumped into a fellow rider who told me about Mosko in White Salmon. I had known about Mosko, but because I already had bags, I gave them little thought. Now just a hundred or so miles away, I made White Salmon a destination. Long story short, I outfitted my bike with Mosko equipment and shipped my Lone Riders home where they’ll likely be retired. Mosko rolled out the proverbial red carpet while in White Salmon. From a few nights spent in their Mototel on the outskirts of town, to one of the most magnificent rides with Jason Small (customer service / shipping & receiving, and so much else) along the Columbia River highlands on an evening where the landscape was drenched with evening sun. Mosko is a company like no other, and their equipment is not only well designed and built, it is distinctly functional and purposeful. Many thanks to everyone at Mosko!

Tent pole bay

Chose this item in the certainty it was correct dimensionally, it would work and it would be robust for the rigours of a 3 month expedition and beyond. It is perfect size for poles wrapped in my groundsheet and, as usual,
no doubts about the quality.

Tent Poke Bag

Great bag, super robust, much thicker material than what was used before.
If the bag was just a little wider I could have fit my camping chair legs in there with my tent poles.

Works with my chair, too!

I wasn't planning on getting a dedicated tent pole bag, I was just going to keep strapping the original stuff sack to my duffle as I don't off-road on my Bonneville. However, after looking at the dimensions of the tent pole bag I realized I could fit my tent poles AND my helinox chair in it! The space savings and quality made it worth the price of entry. Definitely would use Mosko Moto in the future!
