    This kit includes two retrofit frame adaptors, replacing the Mosko frame and wedge quick-release mounting system that comes standard with our Backcountry Pannier Kit, allowing installation on OEM Touratech-made BMW GS/GSA racks. 

    See the 'Product Specs' section below for model year compatibility information. Normally, one kit consisting of left and right side specific mounting adaptors, is required per bike.

    This adapter does NOT work with the OEM 'Vario' style cases or mounting system.

    PRODUCT SPECS

    Purpose-built to mount on BMW GS/GSA with OEM metal racks for these models:

    • GSA 1250
    • GSA 850
    • GSA F900
    • GSA 1200 (Liquid Cooled)

    *OEM Touratech-made racks only

    Euromount adaptor frame-only weight:

    • Exhaust side = 5.45 lbs
    • Non-exhaust side = 4.15 lbs
    FEATURES
    • Kit provides a simple retrofit for our Backcountry Pannier Kit, using provided M6 bolts and t-nut hardware.
    • Easy on/off system with locking cam levers (matching locks), key set included.
    • Once installed with our Backcountry Pannier Kit, this allows GS owners to easily switch between Backcountry Panniers and hardboxes without having to install/remove our frame and wedge adaptors.
    • Sturdy stainless steel frame.
    • Exhaust side frame compartment for additional storage.
    • Lash points on the frame top to aid in strapping items down.

    Retrofit Kit was the perfect solution

    I have a BMW F850 GS Adventure with the OEM pannier racks, and I acquired the aluminum hard cases at the time I bought the bike. They are great for road tripping, but not what I wanted for mixed and off-road focussed rides.

    I purchased the Mosko Moto Backcountry panniers and absolutely love the look, the functionality, the Aux Pocs…. All good. The vertical mounting plates on my Mosko Panniers worked well, but made it a hassle to switch between the hard and soft panniers, since I had to fully uninstall the quick-release plates each time to go back to my OEM hard cases. However, that was a first world problem that I wasn’t going to fix. Suck it up, right?

    Then, I purchased a K9MotoCockpit from the team at GoRuffly, which mounts on my aftermarket Black Dog rear rack. All good, until I realized that I could not add or remove my Mosko Moto Backcountry panniers with the Moto Cockpit installed. The quick-release plate on the non-exhaust side was blocked by the installed Cockpit.

    Solution… the Euromount Retrofit kit. It was easy to install on my panniers, and I can now ‘hot swap’ between hard and soft panniers without getting out the tools, and I can remove the panniers after a ride without having to uninstall my K9 rack.

    The Retrofit kit isn’t cheap, but I have no regrets. It has been the perfect solution to my set-up, and has immediately increased my enjoyment of my whole ‘system.’

    My existing Mosko panniers and slide-on mounts work great, never a problem. However... when this retrofit kit came out I jumped on it. Why? They perfectly fit my R1250GS OEM rack, it perfectly fits my Mosko panniers (remove old system, screw this on), and, (most important to me and reason I purchased) they key lock on to the OEM rack. No longer "fear" my panniers being stolen and if I have gear in them, I'll use a cable lock. Is it absolutely necessary to retrofit?... no, but it sure is an excellent, life-easier upgrade!

    Got Em'!!!

    Serendipitously, I found myself in White Salmon in August '24. Just happened to go to the showroom, and I had to have the new Euromount Backcountry Panniers. I pre-ordered and have been impressed ever since they arrived in Mid October. The bags and mounts are top quality and easy to install/remove. Great stuff, Mosko!!!
