Scuba Mule

About half my moto friends are also scuba divers so I’m going to assume for now that that is a statistically significant sample and bet there are others out there who might also benefit from my perspective.

I’ve traveled all over this hemisphere to dive and while I can get my entire scuba kit in one bag under 50lbs., there was no room for anything else like topside cloths or toiletries etc, so I’ve needed to bring 2 checked bags. It’s an extremely awkward trundle through airports particularly since, as an underwater photographer I have 2 additional bags of cameras, housings and lights, etc.

While the 2 ThinkTank camera bags neat and roll nicely, the scuba gear did not. The Mule changes all that.

All scuba gear fits nicely in the big bag and the smaller bag holds all clothing and topside gear. Nested they roll perfectly and easily come apart when checking and back together on arrival.

My only nitpick is I was expecting the fabric to be a heavier / tougher. Maybe not BC pannier or R 80 / 40 tough, but a bit heavier than it is. Fabric and TTL bag weight is not a concern when checking bags so I would prefer a heavier bag if it were more durable.

PACK MULE

I have used the Mule twice on airline trips and it has been fantastic. The last trip was to Augusta, Georgia to pickup my bike and ride MABDR. I had to pack all of my gear and found that the fully packed mule weighed about 80 pounds. Easy to fix this. I put my heavier paints and jacket in the small portion and got the bigger piece below 50 pounds. I love this thing!

The Mighty Mosko Moto Mule

Wow! Got this right before leaving from NC to Page, Arizona for the KTM Adventure Rally. Another great Mosko product. 34”x18”x12”with a moveable interior separator/wall for better organization. Has an separate additional add-on that adds 4” … Tracks straight and true even at airport, rush speeds. Hops seamlessly over curbs and small children!!

Get the ticket. Take the ride.

If you don’t want to fly to ride… you will once you get your hands on the Mule! This thing ROCKS! I’ve got it packed to the gills with riding gear, camping gear, tools, and all the essentials. It rolls like a champ, expands and contracts with the removable lid, and has plenty of straps to keep things secure. I got the packing cubes as well to keep things organized— especially clutch is the boot bag to keep those grubby things away from the rest of my gear. Looking forward to racking up a ton of frequent flyer miles with the Mule and my Reckless 80— a winning fly-to-ride combo!

Mule Gear Hauler

Internal Organizer Bags

The Mule Gear Hauler is a new roller luggage system designed to haul all your travel gear for international fly-to-ride trips and staging from your truck for local trail rides. The top and bottom portions separate easily into two bags to check at the airport or use with just one bag for trips with less gear.

The top portion has an expansion zipper for an added 43 liters of optional volume to go from 157 liters to 200 liters, while the folding internal frame allows the bottom portion to collapse for shipping and storage.

The Mule gear bag can be ordered with or without five separate internal organization bags. These include helmet and boot bags, plus one large and two smaller universal zippered packaging cubes. (The packaging cubes are also designed to work with our Backcountry Panniers for double duty.)

Built with 100% recycled PET 900D polyester ripstop fabric and reinforced with ultra-tough hypalon sections in high-wear zones, this beast was built for serious long-haul ADV travelers and enduro riders who want moto-specific luggage.
