Refined for our second production round, the Basilisk is our waterproof/breathable enduro-touring kit, for long-distance, multi-day trips through primarily off-road terrain. It combines super-premium materials with clean lines and minimalist design. With an articulated fit for freedom of motion and easy layering, the Basilisk is designed to work with separate armor systems for superior protection and versatility.
The Basilisk is both incredibly waterproof and incredibly breathable. The body fabric is an abrasion-resistant eVent Expedition 3-layer, using eVent’s proprietary Direct Venting™ technology. It’s waterproof to 30,000mm on the water column (100 feet of water pressure), with an MVTR of 10,000 g/m/d, .06cfm air permeability, and DWR. It’s the only waterproof moto pant with air permeability, plus it has the highest waterproof ratings of any moto pant we’ve seen.
On the knees, we added SuperFabric® ceramic platelets on a 600D waterproof/breathable base, sewn as an overlay on the main body eVent for added strength. With two-layers of fabric, you can damage the outer layer and still stay dry. Our zippers are top-of-the-line waterproof YKK VISLON® AquaGuard®: they won’t clog with dust and grime, and they’re easy to operate one-handed with gloves.
The Basilisk is light, nimble, and breathable, with the basic pockets and vents you need and nothing else. We eliminated hanging liners entirely, reducing weight, bulk, and heat. There are two thigh pockets, two knee scoop vents, two huge thigh vents, and two exhaust vents behind the leg. In hot weather: open all the vents and the cooler outside air envelop your upper thigh.
The Basilisk pant includes a sturdy old-school leather belt for waist adjustability, which works both on and off the bike. The leg openings are adjustable too, with waterproof internal gussets and overlapping velcro flaps.

T-Boned by elk…and lived! ![User picture]()
Recently purchased both Basilisk IR pants and jacket. Just returned from a week of riding in Colorado and loved both pieces. Last day, going down a forest road outside of Grand Junction and was t-boned by a juvenile 2 point buck! Was standing in pegs and his forehead hit me just below the knee. Absolutely no damage to pants, no horn penetration. So in short, great fitting, light and waterproof garment with outstanding protection. Horn DID penetrate my Reckless 40 however. Hoping it will be eligible for crash warranty!

My suit is on the way back to you guys. I love everything you do with all the products I have but I believe the basilisk need better confection. Something more robust.
Unfortunately with just one trip out my pants and jacket was damaged and with other brands I have not the same experience
Like i said before, all the products that i have (a lot) are 10/10 but not this one

Incredible Fit, even if you have huge calves! ![User picture]()
Well built pants, perform flawlessly on rides and my favorite part are the venting features on the front of the legs with the snap back option. As a fun fact I've got pretty big calves and I'm wearing a fairly large boot in the Leatt 5.5 Enduros...and there is still enough room to pull the pants down over the boots before adjusting the velcro panel. I know it might not seem like a big deal but it certainly is to me. Great pants, highly recommend.

I did over 1000km in the back country of Iceland late September. Snow, Rain, Ice, Sunshine, rivers and wind. All of my Mosko gear out performed my highest expectations. I was never wet, restricted and could drop or add layers in minutes. Thanks to this gear I was just able to enjoy my trip. Everything fit great over my Leatt armor.
I also made some exchanges prior to the trip and Mosko was incredibly easy to work with. Customer for life.
