    The 5L Aux Pox (V2) mounts on the back and/or front of the Backcountry 35 Pannier, using 5 bolts, washers, and tee nuts. It consists of a harness and a removable, welded-seam, roll-top drybag. The harness can also be used without the included drybag, for things like fuel bottles, a hydration reservoir, or a tool roll. The V2 features velcro closure hatch door for the MSR dromedary nozzle at the bottom of the harness. There's Hypalon armor along the bottom to the edge to protect against abrasion and reflective panels on the outer face for visibility.

    Each individual Backcountry Pannier can fit up to three Aux Pox: one on the front, one on the rear, and one on the bottom. Or you can remove the Aux Pox entirely for a more minimalist fit.

    DESIGN

    The 4L Aux Pox mounts on the back and/or front of the Backcountry 25 Pannier, or on the back of each leg of the Reckless 80L (V3.0) Revolver, using 5 bolts, washers, and tee nuts. It consists of a harness and a removable, welded-seam, roll-top drybag. The harness can also be used without the included drybag, for things like fuel bottles, a hydration reservoir, or a tool roll.
    At the bottom of the harness is an opening for an MSR dromedary nozzle.
    There's hypalon armor along the bottom edge to protect against abrasion and reflective panels on the outer face for visibility.

    Good quality and useful

    Mosko gear is pricey, but I think it’s worth it. These particular pockets were slightly tricky to mount. Specifically getting all the fasteners along one side is easy, but it took some hand strength to bend it enough to get the other side fitted. Once mounted they feel very secure. I like being able to get a little extra space by using them without the dry bag inserts if I want. My pockets had “hanging chads” where the mounting holes were die cut neatly but the piece remained held by a small sliver of material. These came out with zero effort, just thought I’d mention it.

    Love the AuxPox. Great size for a toolkit, daytime clothing layers, or easily accessible chow. Addition of MOLLE loops makes it easier to mount the bag positively in other locations on my bike.

    I’ve had my Backcountry 35L bags for years and love them. Then I had the pleasure of meeting the Mosko Moto staff at the Flagstaff Overland show. I added the Aux Pox and love them too. Great sturdy construction, installed without swearing once!!
