SJ Buckles

Great to have in your field repair kit or to replace an already broken buckle. Even if you just need one for replacement it's a good idea to have a backup when you're out on a ride. The Quick Attach models can be installed without any sewing, using a clever 'split bar' or snap configuration.
In many cases, it's also possible to update your older-style Ghost Eye buckles to SJ, with a combination of the options available on this page.
Buckle size corresponds to webbing width. This style of buckle is used on all of our current bags. Make sure you get the size right, and the adjustability where you need it.

Funny thing to review extra plastic buckles for my nomax tank bag. I lost one. I wanted to buy just an extra. I did. $5. Least amount of $ spent at Moscow but the customer service excels no matter the price point!!! I love my backcountry 35 paniers, 30 duffle and nomad tank bag. Best gear ever built and bought. But it's the little things I need too when I must count on Mosko. The company consistently delivers. Hell yes, I'll post this review.

With the SJ buckles I was able to modify other luggage that I like to be compatible with the Mosko mounting system for my Nomad tank bag. Also i modified two other mounting systems and bags to make everything modular.
Thea buckles are easy to install and have breathed new life into my storage options depending on how long of a journey time taking.

Very happy with my bag very stable and low profile, easy mount and take off. Main compartment not as easy to get into in a fly but a super solid bag, súper happy with it ( only thing one of the main buckles broke on my first trip ) I did pull a bit hard on it, if there are beefier ones you should use them

New SJ Buckles seems to be less durable than the old one. Mine was broken in few months of sparing use when the old one was fine during a long hard 4 months trip

SJ Buckles for my panniers
I broke the buckle on my 4 year old panniers. Unfortunately, the new ones are a different design so a simple replacement wasn’t an option. I reached out to customer service and they responded over night. They came up with a work around that cost me around $25. It was an easy 5 minute fix on my end and now everything is back to normal. Thank you!
