New or experienced riders, I would always reccomended Forcefield. Great CE2 protection, comfortable to wear. Note that if you're intend to wear this outside long sleeve base layer, it will slide back and forth a bit due to the smooth cloth surface. Best to wear a with the Harness FLITE +, the shoulder armor have velcro and loop to attach this elbow guard and form a solid system.

Arm protectors
These are a bit more tricky than the main body armor, when it comes to getting layers over, as my range of motion is more limited, if I didn’t want the most protection in the rocky terrain I ride and most impact protection I might steer towards the sock style protectors. I my spring for a pair of the sock style in the future just to have the choice of both in the moment depending on the day of a ride but in this case more protection is what I’ll have on my rides.

Excellent, but maybe size down
Excellent protection. It covers almost your entire forearm and wraps around about half of that where you want it wrapped. After some MTB and ADV riding it is beginning to feel like it's conforming well enough (but the bulk is real).
Gripe - I measure in the lower quartile of the medium size and it's just too big. So with time this will stretch out to not fit securely.
