Event Details

CAMP VENUE
Our camp will be based at Area-BFE, a private off-road park located 15 miles south of downtown Moab. Hidden away up a beautiful canyon, the property has a network of challenging trails throughout the 500+ acre facility. The route into the venue is a wide graded dirt road, giving easy access to vehicles and trailers of any size. BLM-graded roads and two-track public trails connect just off the property, giving us quick access to epic riding for all bikes and skill levels.

RIDING
We'll provide some suggested routes with GPX files for Adventure Bikes and Dualsports from easy to more challenging trails. These will be emailed to ticket holders the week before the event. We encourage attendees to create small groups and ride with like-minded new friends to explore the huge selection of trails in Moab.

MUSIC
Live music on Friday & Saturday nights.

FOOD & DRINKS
Bivouac Coffee will be serving fresh coffee in the mornings, and local vendors will provide light breakfasts, plus dinners at camp. Fizzy dinner beverages will be provided in the Dusty Lizard Lounge. See the schedule below for details.

Come check out the Mosko Moto gear on display all weekend for ticket holders. Purchases at the event include a 10% off and free shipping event special. (Public walk-up / shopping-only non-ticket holder hours are 12 - 6 pm on Friday, 25th.)

MOSKO FRIENDS
Some of our moto buds will also have their goods on display, including Ruby Moto Lights, Taco Moto, Black Dog Cycle Works, DoubleTake Mirrors. Bivouac Coffee will be serving fresh morning brews. Consider joining Clear Moto for training sessions to brush up on your skills before hitting the trails. Rogue Moto also has a diverse fleet of ADV and dualsport rental motorcycles available and can be booked directly with them.

Dusty Lizard camp out Death Valley

Great time looking forward to Moab

Great riding, great event, will return.

While I'd suggest a few improvements, this is a worthy event. The riding in DV is excellent, albeit unusually hot temps for October. We still loved the riding. We met a LOT of interesting people, and rode with a few new friends. And, the sponsors were companies I've dones business with and was able to meet and confer with the owners (Mosko, Taco Moto, Ruby Lighting). Excellent food, fun entertainment, great helpful staff, and like-minded new friends. Will return next year.

Thanks a ton for joining us at the Dusty Lizard in DV, Jeff! We really appreciate your feedback and you braving those unexpected warm temps with us. Stoked to hear you connected with fellow riders and had an overall good time. We look forward to seeing you at a future Dusty Lizard!

Amazing Rally!

I could not have enjoyed my first Dusty Lizard more. Death Valley is always a great place to ride and the Mosko Moto crew puts on a great event. The campsite, food and music were top shelf and Volunteer Chris was everywhere at the same time giving trail beta, helping with repairs, and making sure everyone was having a great time. I’m looking forward to a Dusty Lizard in Utah! Thank again!

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience at the Death Valley Dusty Lizard, Robert! We're really happy you had a great time. We'll definitely pass along your kind words to Volunteer Chris–he's the absolute best. Thanks again for your support and we'll catch you in Utah!
