Growing up, I moved around a lot. So, from a very young age, this instilled a sense of wonder and travel inside of me that has never left.
Growing up, I moved around a lot. So, from a very young age, this instilled a sense of wonder and travel inside of me that has never left. While I had this sense of wonder and started traveling on my own at 17, the thought of riding a motorcycle had never crossed my mind. Then, one day, just after turning 19, a thought came to me: "I want to learn how to ride a motorcycle."
From then on, like a lightbulb switch, that is what I started focusing on. Any extra money I made, was being saved to to eventually buy myself a bike. I was living in Texas at the time, so the only option I thought was available to me was getting a cruiser. Then, when traveling in Oregon, I met my now-husband, a PNW native, and he introduced me to the world of dual sports and adventure bikes, and I was hooked. This would combine my love of travel, and my desire to ride.
So, I moved to the Northwest, and started engulfing myself in the world of adv travel. But, this was mostly from Youtube or the back of my partners bike. Since I was now a happy pillion, I was less motivated to get my license. Then, 2020 hit, and I realized this was finally the time to actually learn how to ride.
I finally got my motorcycle endorsement in 2021. Then, immediately set off from Washington State, to ride to Ushuaia on my trusty Royal Enfield Himalayan. That trip had many pauses, but I can happily say that I have ridden my bike from the US to Ushuaia, Argentina. I now look forward to seeing more of the world on two wheels.
Since moving to the Northwest, my life has revolved around travel and motorcycles, and Mosko Moto was quickly at the forefront of that. Driving by Mosko HQ one day in 2018, I remember thinking just how cool it would be to work there. Fast-forward to 2024, I landed a job at Mosko, and I'm happy to say; it is the coolest place to work! I love being surrounded by other people who love to ride, and getting to talk to our wonderful customers on the daily, who also share the stoke and love for getting out there, and getting dirty!
