Video Editor — Mosko Moto

In-House Video Editor

White Salmon, Washington
Full-Time / In-House

We're looking for an in-house Video Editor to handle post-production across organic social, paid ads, long-form and short-form YouTube content, and website PDP video. This role blends technical knowledge, creative thinking, platform-right savvy, the ability to work quickly and respond to needs, and adventure moto rider culture fluency into one seat.

You'll work closely with the Marketing Team to bring social edits, short-form clips, creative paid ads, product overview videos, and vibey brand communications to life through modern, creative executions. While editing is the core of this role, candidates who can also pick up a camera — whether that's an iPhone, a GoPro, an Insta360, a drone, or a Sony A7 — and contribute to original capture are exactly the kind of Swiss Army knife collaborators we get excited about.

This role is best suited for someone who not only has technical experience and software know-how but also wants to work with video production teams to improve workflows, contribute new ideas, and pursue unique creative executions for adaptation in the adventure moto space.

Required Experience

  • Portfolio showing creative video executions across a variety of digital video formats and platforms
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital platforms and channel-specific best practices (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, paid social, website)
  • Proficiency in modern editing tools, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and the Instagram Edits app
  • Strong command of color correction and grading workflows
  • Ability to work fluently across footage from iPhone through pro cinema cameras, managing varied bit rates, codecs, and frame rates
  • Working knowledge of audio engineering principles and optimization for digital platform delivery
  • Experience with ADR and post sound design
  • Candidates must have off-road motorcycle riding experience — dual sport, ADV, and moto camping experience preferred

What You'll Do

Video Editing & Post Production

  • Edit organic social content, paid ad creative, short-form clips, and long-form YouTube videos
  • Handle color correction and grading across mixed camera sources — including action cam, 360°, drone, and mirrorless footage
  • Manage audio post: dialogue cleanup, sound design, music licensing compliance, and platform-spec delivery
  • Cut and deliver PDP video for the Mosko website
  • Work with footage shot on a range of cameras — from iPhone to cinema-grade rigs

Creative & Platform Strategy

  • Bring a creative eye to every edit — format-right, platform-aware, and brand-aligned
  • Stay current on content trends, viral formats, and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and paid channels
  • Contribute ideas for new executions, series concepts, and creative approaches
  • Adapt long-form content into short-form clips and platform-specific cuts

Workflow & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the Marketing Team to manage deliverable timelines and asset handoffs
  • Organize and maintain media libraries, project files, and delivery archives
  • Contribute to improving team editing workflows and production pipelines
  • Communicate proactively on progress, blockers, and creative feedback

In-Field Capture — Strong Plus

  • Join shoots and contribute original footage when needed, operating iPhone, GoPro, Insta360, drone, or Sony A7 systems
  • Capture ride footage, product detail shots, and brand moments in real trail and moto camping environments
  • Understand how to shoot for the edit — framing, coverage, and movement that cuts well across short- and long-form formats

What We're Looking For

  • A creative-first editor who brings fresh ideas and strong taste to every project
  • Deep platform fluency — you know what works on Reels vs. YouTube vs. paid without being told
  • Technical precision: clean timelines, proper color, optimized audio, and on-spec exports every time
  • Ability to toggle between fast-turn social edits and polished long-form productions
  • Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Clear communicator who raises issues early and follows through reliably
  • Strong interest in dual sport, ADV, and trail moto riding — you understand moto culture

Preferred Background

  • Hands-on shooting experience with any combination of: iPhone, GoPro, Insta360, DJI or similar drone platforms, and Sony A7-series mirrorless cameras — the more of these you've run in the field, the better
  • FAA Part 107 drone certification, or willingness to obtain it
  • Experience with DTC, outdoor, action sports, gear, or enthusiast-driven brands
  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted editing and efficiency workflows

Lifestyle / Culture Fit

  • Strong personal interest in dual sport, ADV, and trail motorcycle riding
  • Comfortable riding off-road and camping in remote locations
  • Able to contribute from a genuine understanding of the customer and riding environment
  • Bonus points if you've shot riding content yourself

About Mosko Moto

Our growing 24-person in-house team includes decades of design experience with top outdoor brands and extensive knowledge of sourcing and manufacturing, finance, marketing, and customer service. We also spend a lot of time camping and riding motorcycles.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience
  • 5 days paid Moto Flex Ride Time
  • 5 days paid sick leave
  • Bi-annual week-long company moto camping trips
  • Access to drones, camera equipment (including GoPro, Insta360, and Sony A7 systems), and required software
  • Company MacBook Pro + monitor
