    The 5L Aux Pox (V2) mounts on the back and/or front of the Backcountry 35 Pannier, using 5 bolts, washers, and tee nuts. It consists of a harness and a removable, welded-seam, roll-top drybag. The harness can also be used without the included drybag, for things like fuel bottles, a hydration reservoir, or a tool roll. The V2 features velcro closure hatch door for the MSR dromedary nozzle at the bottom of the harness. There's Hypalon armor along the bottom to the edge to protect against abrasion and reflective panels on the outer face for visibility.

    Each individual Backcountry Pannier can fit up to three Aux Pox: one on the front, one on the rear, and one on the bottom. Or you can remove the Aux Pox entirely for a more minimalist fit.

    DESIGN

    The 4L Aux Pox mounts on the back and/or front of the Backcountry 25 Pannier, or on the back of each leg of the Reckless 80L (V3.0) Revolver, using 5 bolts, washers, and tee nuts. It consists of a harness and a removable, welded-seam, roll-top drybag. The harness can also be used without the included drybag, for things like fuel bottles, a hydration reservoir, or a tool roll.
    At the bottom of the harness is an opening for an MSR dromedary nozzle.
    There's hypalon armor along the bottom edge to protect against abrasion and reflective panels on the outer face for visibility.

    I’ve had my Backcountry 35L bags for years and love them. Then I had the pleasure of meeting the Mosko Moto staff at the Flagstaff Overland show. I added the Aux Pox and love them too. Great sturdy construction, installed without swearing once!!

    Can the 5L be used instead of the 4L on the Reckless 40 system?

    The V2 is a lot more versatile with the additional webbing. I prefer the v1 in my pannier mounted setup. I thought the back on the v1 was a bit more rigid, keeping it looking nice and tight and not saggy when mounted from screws. I also liked how the V1 side cuts showed more color of the inner bag. I believe the V1 had more of the Accent color on the bag showing as well. “the blue thin trim.” The V2 is very small windows in comparison. Otherwise unbelievable products. Top notch.

    I switched to Mosco Moto soft luggage just prior to my trip to the Arctic Circle in AK from San Antonio, TX two years ago. Served me very well on that 31 day 11,500 mile trip. Had 10 days in a row of rain and never anything inside getting wet. I just bought my third Aux Pox 5 L container. I look forward to riding to Redmond, OR from San Antonio next week.
