    The 4L Aux Pox mounts on the back and/or front of the Backcountry 25 Pannier, or on the back of each leg of the Reckless 80L or Reckless 40L (V4.0), using 5 bolts, washers, and tee nuts. It consists of a harness and a removable, welded-seam, roll-top drybag. The harness can also be used without the included drybag, for things like fuel bottles, a hydration reservoir, or a tool roll. At the bottom of the harness is an opening for an MSR dromedary nozzle. There's Hypalon armor along the bottom to the edge to protect against abrasion and reflective panels on the outer face for visibility.

    Each individual Backcountry Pannier can fit up to two Aux Pox: one on the front and one on the rear. The Reckless 80L and the Reckless 40L (V4.0) can accommodate one 4L Aux Pox on the rear of each harness leg (two total). Or you can remove the Aux Pox entirely for a more minimalist fit.

    Works great for additional storage on R80

    Purchased this and a First Aid Kit to add a 3rd bag to each of our R80 systems. Wife has the First Aid Kit on top of her left holster with Molle sticks and I have the Aux Pox mounted solid on top of the left holster. Love the extra storage kept low on the bike.

    The quality of the bag and pouch is good, however the design could be improved. The size and demensions of the pouch are very unforgiving. It is difficult to get the pouch in when it is full and the depth dimension should be improved to as wide or more than the pouch. A great design improvement would be to make the pouch like a sling similar to the early scout panniers, love that design on my F800GS more than the newer expedition system on my R1250Gs. Design a common sling pouch for both 25L and 35L panniers that can accommodate 4L or 5L bags, and makes it much more rider friendly for loading and unloading the bags.
