Aux Pox – 4L

Color
BLACK
STARGAZER

The 4L Aux Pox mounts on the back and/or front of the Backcountry 25 Pannier, or on the back of each leg of the Reckless 80L or Reckless 40L (V4.0), using 5 bolts, washers, and tee nuts. It consists of a harness and a removable, welded-seam, roll-top drybag. The harness can also be used without the included drybag, for things like fuel bottles, a hydration reservoir, or a tool roll. At the bottom of the harness is an opening for an MSR dromedary nozzle. There's Hypalon armor along the bottom to the edge to protect against abrasion and reflective panels on the outer face for visibility.

Each individual Backcountry Pannier can fit up to two Aux Pox: one on the front and one on the rear. The Reckless 80L and the Reckless 40L (V4.0) can accommodate one 4L Aux Pox on the rear of each harness leg (two total). Or you can remove the Aux Pox entirely for a more minimalist fit.

Perun Moto Side Carrier Solution

I mounted up these aux pox on a set of Perun Moto side carriers on my 2023 Ducati Desert X. Excellent and versatile solution for carrying small essentials and tools on day rides, heavy off-road, etc. And they also provide the underside support for a Reckless 80 on longer trips or camping with more luggage in tow. The aux pox themselves are the typical Mosko Moto amazing quality. I've never had a single bad experience with Mosko Moto products or service. You absolutely can't go wrong with this company.

Backcountry 25L Panniers

I was looking for soft panniers in just the right size- I also wanted them bullet proof -MOSKO MOTO’s 25L Pannier’s in the Back Country Color was the perfect match for my KTM 890R - The Back Country Color was made for the KTM- The build quality is incredible- Think about how you would SPEC them as a custom one off and BANG- Your getting your dream come true- Yes they are a bit on the heavy side but in this case you know that the weight is what is making it quality- sure they could have made it lighter at a lower spec- I accepted the weight for the build quality- I replaced the stock suspension with the WP Pro and adjusted everything so it is perfectly adapted to the extra load- so I still get incredible travel off-road - They thought of every detail with both the bags and the mounting system- I ended up buying more end pockets as well as two fuel bottles- SAVE yourself the time and BUY ALL the end pockets when you first buy your bags as your gonna do it later anyway- I look forward to what MOSKO comes up with next!!!

Mosko Reckless on a KTM 390 ADV

I'm a clumsy moose--220 pounds, 6'1", and 75 years old. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 15, I have lots of bikes, and most of them gather dust these days because I've fallen back in love with small-ish dirt bikes. The switch to 500+ pound dirt bikes is actually a fairly recent thing. When I was racing bikes in the desert it was 125's, 250's, and the big bikes were 360cc. All singles, and all under 300 pounds. Adventure bikes aren't racing bikes--I get that, but when I dropped my GS1150 trying to load it in my truck and had to use a tractor with a front loader to get it back on two wheels I decided it wasn't really the bike I wanted. So I bought a KTM 390 ADV and set about making it 50 pounds lighter. Then I added a Mosko Moto tank bag and a Reckless Revolver 80l with two Aux Pox 4L bags to carry fuel bottles.

My first reaction to the Reckless system was damn, this is pretty heavy. So much for that 50 pounds I ditched. But then I used the system on a 6 day trip to Idaho that included some of the best sections of the IABDR. The system performed flawlessly. Not only did I find it easy to ride with, but it also carried everything I wanted without making the bike clumsy or unbalanced. Fully loaded it was like a 50-pound pillion passenger that never wiggles around. The quality of all the bags is simply over the top, and every time I think "if this system would just..." I discover that it actually does. The tank bag is completely spooky. It must have some Tardis technology because every time I think I'd like to carry something more in it somehow it accommodates it. I currently carry a full tool kit, a tire plug kit, a combination compressor/jump-starter/flashlight/power pack, two liters of water, a first aid kit, screen wipes and a bottle of glass cleaner, four bic lighters, map and compass, Garmin InReach, knife, leatherman Signal, hat, and extra gloves, and a half dozen Kind bars. Yes, that's nuts, and it's not just all jammed into one open space, it's all in pouches, under straps, or in zippered pockets. I am bizarrely organized in this bag. So yes, I'm a fan, and I will continue to be for a long time. Given how well made this stuff is it will be around when cockroaches rule the planet.

Best Gear I’ve Used!

Mosko Moto makes some of the best gear I’ve used on my GSA. Leaving tomorrow for a three week trip, trusting all of my camping gear, camera equipment and clothes to my Mosko setup. Leaving Louisville, KY and riding to Glacier National park and beyond. Can’t wait!

Mosko gets two thumbs up!

I learned a long time ago...buy once, cry once. Mosko fits the bill. You can find more inexpensive panniers, but you will pay the penalty in quality, fit and function. I just came back from a 6 day BDR trip on my f850gsa. I used a pair of 25L mosko BC panniers witth 2 aux pockets and 2 molle pockets. I can't say enough good about these pieces of gear.

Everything is well thought out, and obviously created by folks that KNOW motorcycling. To me, I can actually see the care that Mosko takes in creation of their products. Hell, even the stickers I just ordered were crazy thick and durable, lol. I dumped my motor twice, the bags showed no damage or even abrasions from the river rock and rocky dirt. The extra storage space with the beavertails is a GAME CHANGER for wet tents, layer clothing, etc.

I'm a fan. Maybe even a fanboy at this point. Can't help it. I dig durable gear that avoids frills.
