Retrofit Kit: Speed-Pin Frame & Wedge Upgrade

Definitely an improvement and super easy to swap out the old bracket.

As usual of Mosko Moto products this kit is of very high standard and upgrades easily to my Back Country panniers without any issues. System works well. The service and delivery is also outstanding. I live in Australia and I ordered on a Sunday and my kit arrived at my door on the Friday and this is not the first time I have ordered from Mosko Moto. The distribution center from Europe is definitely worth it and customers get their goods very quickly around the world. Thanks guys and keep it up.

This was my first purchase from Mosko and it came about from the 701 which I bought this year. It came equipped with an existing wedge system and I wanted to keep it one the bike. What I had was the earlier version of the system, so the retrofit improved the mounting of the luggage, making for a quicker mount and release of the bags (Backcountry 25L) which were new as well. I have yet to try out the luggage in the real world, but from a builders standpoint, it's an awesome product. Well thought out and sure as hell will stand up to anything I plan on in the future. Upcoming trip to the Florida Panhandle for starters.

I found a set of the 35L BACKCOUNTRY PANNIERS at an estate sale but there were no mounting parts. I planned to make my own mounts, but after seeing the Speed-Pin Frame & Wedge mounts at the BMW rally I decided to use those mounted to the GIVI tubular frames which I had on my DR650.
MOSKOMOTO has very useful drawings on their website so between the drawings and several phone calls to the very helpful people at Mosko I was able to design a mounting system for the "Retrofit Kit: Speed-Pin Frame & Wedge" .
This luggage system is really easy to use and extremely rugged. I've worn out a couple of sets of BMW hard cases but I seriously doubt if I will be able to wear out this MOSKOMOTO setup.
