This is tuff gear.….. On my trip around Australia one of mine panniers came of at 110km/h after I hit a kangaroo. The outer shell has suffered a bit of damage but still usable, no damage to the inner dry bag though! With any other gear on the market the contents of the bag would have been spread all over the road. Good work MoskoMoto!!!!!

I added these to my R1200GS to be able to easily swap between backcountry 35 bags, for travel, and Touratech boxes that work best for me for commuting and shopping. I occasionally need to remove the boxes to squeeze the bike into the apparatus bay at my medic station, so a rapid removal method is much appreciated.
I removed the Touratech mounting hardware, drilled and bolted the frame portion to the boxes. I added a simple 1” webbing strap on top of the boxes to easily lift the boxes off the wedge. Added bonus is cleaner interior of boxes, less hardware intruding into space. Works great!

I am very pleased with the upgrade kit. The glass filled nylon parts look great and the fit between the wedge and frame is perfect. I have the Givi PL6401CAM Side Case Racks on a Triumph Tiger 800XCx. Because of the four mounting holes in the racks (for the hard case mounting hardware) I did need to add washers behind the wedges to allow the frames/bags to slide on without interference. That's no fault of Mosko Moto. It's because the type of rack I have. However, I would not change a thing. I really like this rack and luggage combo because it keeps the CG of the bags lower than most other racks.
