The Apecat Harness was designed to be an ultra-comfortable and adaptable carry system featuring 1.5 Liter / 50oz Hydrapak® water reservoir with insulated hydration hose. The Apecat has the ability to be used as a minimal hip pack with just the main center compartment, or built out with side pockets and a fully featured shoulder strap for additional support. Add the Wildcat Chest Rig for quick access front storage for maximum Apecat capacity.

DESIGN

Worn over a jersey, external armor, or a large ADV jacket, the Apecat provides a wide range of adjustability and evenly distributes the weight of the 1.5L reservoir, tools, and your essentials. The Apecat provides ample organization, weather-resistant materials, and ultra-comfort for off-road ADV and trail riding.

The optional Wildcat Chest Rig pairs with the Apecat 9L Hip Pack. The Wildcat Chest Rig is equipped with two front pockets, one designed to provide quick access and secure transportation for a satellite communicator, like the Garmin inReach and InReach Mini. Opening the main storage pocket, you’ll find a removable Velcro panel with elastic webbing to secure small items such as a pocketknife or charging cables, plus room to store your phone, wallet, snacks, or other quick-access items without having to take off your pack. The Chest Rig back panel is also equipped with MOLLE for attaching it to other Mosko bags/luggage with MOLLE panels.

Please note: the Wildcat Chest Rig add-on is only available in Black. All three Apecat Harness colors share the black Chest Rig.

“ life changing”

So much better than a backpack, plenty of storage and a blatter… life is better with the Apecat harness

Amazing pack!

The Apecat is exactly what I needed it to be. Durable, lots of room for everything, and it disappears on my back. I hardly knew it was there. It's been a solid addition to my off-road touring kit.

Fantastic

Finally someone actually built a proper pack that keeps the weight low on your waist instead of hanging off your shoulders. Very comfortable and being able to remove the side bags is great. Or put them back on when you need to carry a lot. Get this thing adjusted correctly and you might even forget it is there. The moto gear biz has been churning out the same bulky quasi tactical overbuilt junk for years. It's about time somebody went outside the box and built something that makes sense and improves the riding experience. It's not cheap. But it'll probably be the last one you need.

Comfortable, Functional Bag

This bag is a gamechanger. As someone who has carried stuff every which way, from on the bike, to in a backpack, to this, I can truly say that this is an innovative and incredible product.
Due to the nature of how hip belts/hip packs fit, this is a little awkward to wear with a big, bulky riding jacket; however, it's not impossible to get used to. On the other hand, it is so comfortable to wear over a jersey or other light layer. When wearing this, I often forget that it's even there, even when it is filled with the items I carry in it.
I appreciate that, unlike a backpack, this harness actually has two pockets on it that are 100% accessible while wearing it. I keep my personal items (wallet, phone, keys, snacks, etc...) in one side, and other items I might want quick access to in the other side. The main pouch in the back fits the included water bladder and so much more, including my multi-tool + other parts of that kit, some other tools, and a tube. With all of that, the weight of it still disappears when wearing this pack. Often, I forget that the shoulder straps are even there, and I can feel wind flowing underneath them when riding because there really is no weight on them whatsoever. In that regard, this does feel awkward with the chest rig, so much so, that I am opting not to use the chest rig with it.
There is a small learning curve to figuring out how to wear this comfortable and how everything should be adjusted, but once you get past that, I think you'll find that this is the most comfortable way to carry any considerable weight on your body. Bravo and kudos to mosko on this one.
