The 5L Aux Pox mounts on the back and/or front of the Backcountry 35 Pannier using 5 bolts, washers, and tee nuts. It consists of a harness and a removable, welded-seam, roll-top drybag. The harness can also be used without the included drybag, for things like fuel bottles, a hydration reservoir, or a tool roll. At the bottom of the harness is an opening for an MSR dromedary nozzle. There's hypalon armor along the bottom to edge to protect against abrasion, and reflective panels on the outer face for visibility.
Each individual Backcountry Pannier can fit up to two Aux Pox: one on the front and one on the rear. Or you can remove the Aux Pox entirely for a more minimalist fit.

The bags fit perfectly into the holders, are very robust and make an indestructible impression. But there is one small BUT: although the bag was rolled up to more than halfway, moisture got in! I think it's the fabric hem (webbing) that holds the clippers to the bag. This absorbs water and pulls it inside.
I have run multiple items from this crew and have yet to be able to destroy it. I have used it and secured it improperly and it just refuses to quit or leak! I love the gear and support you get when you have a question. On a good note it looks great as well so that's a plus for sure!!! Thanks
Wow, I really do love the new panniers and drink bottle holders, they really do look the part on my 1200gsa, the quality is just fantastic, couldn’t recommend
them more. Cheers, Jason
