Basilisk Pant

I recently purchased the Basilisk Pant for an upcoming Enduro trip to Iceland. I tried on many different pants from different brands and the Basilisk Pant stand out from the rest. The fit is superior as is the build. The water proofing and the venting I expect will serve me well.

Have both the pant and jacket

Super comfortable, they ventilate well and the pockets, straps, zippers are all super functional. I haven’t ridden in the rain yet, but so far I LOVE this gear.

First thoughts on Basilisk

I would say the sizing is true to size I wear a 36 in jeans and got the 36 in the Mosko pant. I was very surprised that there was plenty of room considering the other reviews I had read. At first glance the material is quality and the pants are comfortable. I was surprised that it came with a belt which was pretty cool, however that leads me to my single piece of feed back for Mosko. I was very surprised to see that the paint didn’t have some sort of adjustment on the waist to cinch down the waist. This is just something that I am used to having and adds a level of comfort for me personally. I look forward to putting these paints to the test and reporting back!

Basilisk Pant

Love the pants. Just spent the last few days in North Carolina riding both on and off road. Pants worked great❗️ The vents and zippers were top notch. Wore them with my Forcefield armor. My one suggestion is the rear could be reinforced like the knees or inner legs are. Great product

I love the pants.

So far I have loved the design and materials. The only problem I have had is the need to take the pants to a seamstress to fix a belt loop after only a few hours of use and one wash... was a little disappointing.

Basilisk Pant 2020

Size Guide >

Refined for our second production round, the Basilisk is our waterproof/breathable enduro-touring kit, for long-distance, multi-day trips through primarily off-road terrain. It combines super-premium materials with clean lines and minimalist design. With an articulated fit for freedom of motion and easy layering, the Basilisk is designed to work with separate armor systems for superior protection and versatility.

The Basilisk is both incredibly waterproof and incredibly breathable. The body fabric is an abrasion-resistant eVent Expedition 3-layer, using eVent’s proprietary Direct Venting™ technology. It’s waterproof to 30,000mm on the water column (100 feet of water pressure), with an MVTR of 10,000 g/m/d, .06cfm air permeability, and DWR. It’s the only waterproof moto pant with air permeability, plus it has the highest waterproof ratings of any moto pant we’ve seen.

On the knees, we added SuperFabric® ceramic platelets on a 600D waterproof/breathable base, sewn as an overlay on the main body eVent for added strength. With two-layers of fabric, you can damage the outer layer and still stay dry. Our zippers are top-of-the-line waterproof YKK VISLON® AquaGuard®: they won’t clog with dust and grime, and they’re easy to operate one-handed with gloves.

The Basilisk is light, nimble, and breathable, with the basic pockets and vents you need and nothing else. We eliminated hanging liners entirely, reducing weight, bulk, and heat. There are two thigh pockets, two knee scoop vents, two huge thigh vents, and two exhaust vents behind the leg. In hot weather: open all the vents and the cooler outside air envelop your upper thigh.

The Basilisk pant includes a sturdy old-school leather belt for waist adjustability, which works both on and off the bike. The leg openings are adjustable too, with waterproof internal gussets and overlapping velcro flaps.
