The 4L Aux Pox mounts on the back and/or front of the Backcountry 25 Pannier, or on the back of each leg of the Reckless 80L (V3.0) Revolver, using 5 bolts, washers, and tee nuts. It consists of a harness and a removable, welded-seam, roll-top drybag. The harness can also be used without the included drybag, for things like fuel bottles, a hydration reservoir, or a tool roll. At the bottom of the harness is an opening for an MSR dromedary nozzle. There's hypalon armor along the bottom to edge to protect against abrasion, and reflective panels on the outer face for visibility.
Each individual Backcountry Pannier can fit up to two Aux Pox: one on the front and one on the rear. The Reckless 80L (V3.0) Revolver can accommodate one 4L Aux Pox on the rear of each harness leg (two total). Or you can remove the Aux Pox entirely for a more minimalist fit.
Product Creation at Mosko is an effort born of necessity. Everyone on our team rides – and time on the trail translates to an innovative, always improving product line. Crafting gear that will outperform in even the most harsh riding conditions means we make no compromise, ever.
Would like to provide a review for you, but an extended journey a buddy and I had planned to take thru AZ, NM, UT, and CO had to be put off for obvious reasons. I do like the way the rig ( Reckless 80) mounts on the Himalayan, and I can’t wait until I am able to put it thru its paces.
A lot of thought has gone into this product. They have been cleverly put together to maximise carrying capacity but are not bulky. The fabric looks really tough. Haven't had rain yet but it looks like it will be completely waterproof. They are relatively expensive but are top quality and look like they will last for a long time. I highly recommend this product.
It is refreshing to see the results of combining quality engineering with
the best of materials by individuals so involved in the actual end usage
of a product.
The Backcountry pannier V2.0 are very robust ,I was impressed by the design and attention to detail. I have 3 months to dream of riding because of snow and cold here in ND, but I have full confidence the bags will serve me well, last for years to come .
I waited for the new version of the panniers to be released from the time that I heard that they would once again be available in offset 35l / 25l sizes. This was important for my KTM 790 since the rack on the muffler side sticks out much farther. I am delighted with the functionality after just using them on a BDR. The two riders that I was with had aluminum panniers and both said that they were going to go with my Mosko setup when they got home. Great Product and Customer Support!
