The Heat Shield protects your bag from exhaust heat. It includes a hose clamp. It is designed for use with our Reckless bags, but can also be used with other soft bags. Dimensions: 6.5" x 3.5". The lip that raises it off the exhaust is 1". Made of aluminum.
Rarely am I does a product exceed expectations in all regards. The reckless 80 system from Mosko does just that. The thoughtful features and quality are top notch.

Reskless 80L V.2
I have purchased the 35L Pannier set, the 40L Backcountry Duffle, the 60L Duffle, and the Nomad Tank Bag. Now the Reckless 80L. All have there purposes for different trips and bikes. DRZ400 Heat Shield
Installed easy, Worked well, would recommend to drz400 owners with soft bags. Would have saved me a melted side panel and soft saddle bag if I’d used it last year.

I have the rackless 80L bags and its mandatory to have two heat shields on the KTM 990 adv. I hope this company never looses the amazing build quality just to save money like other companies!
