Most versatile Moto luggage you can buy

I've tested everything else - the Reckless 80 is probably the most versatile moto luggage in the world. It can go on almost any bike. It is built like a tank - super tough. Expandable, easy to install, looks great, what more do you want? I pack heavy, so I use the 80 more than the 40 which I also own. You can use their 30L or 40L duffles in place of the 22L if you need more room. That's the great thing about Mosko - everything works together.

Great Luggage

This is a great piece of kit that is incredibly well made. I have no doubt it'll last for a long time. I had a hard time deciding between soft and hard luggage but went with this for flexibility and safety. It delivers on that in spades.

But nothing is perfect of course. I feel that it's more work than hard luggage would be. It took me quite a while to get it so I'm satisfied with it on my KTM 890 Adventure Standard (non-R). It's still not 100% perfect. The way the plastics bulge on the KTM cause the bags to not sit exactly straight so the hostlers bend a little making it difficult to slide the dry bags in. However, I do think it'll loosen up and become easier over time. I'm also going to try and reconfigure to see if I can get them seated a little straighter. The other thing I'm not thrilled with is I had to buy an aftermarket luggage rack because the stock one just didn't work well with the Mosko. I also don't love the number of straps involved. It does take some time to get everything loaded and strapped down, but this will certainly become quicker and easier the more I use it. None of the negatives are really a fault of the luggage though. They're more issues with fitment to my particular bike or just downsides associated with soft luggage in general so your experience may differ. Mosko also markets it as being modular, meaning you can only take parts of it if you want a lighter and smaller setup. While this may be true, you would need to remove the holster screws to reconfigure it. That is enough of a pain to make me probably never do it so I don't really consider it to be modular. Just put the whole thing together and leave it that way. Makes it easier.

The product itself is fantastic though. I love the way it looks on the bike and it's very functional. It fits more stuff than I expected. It's just a little more work than hard luggage would be. It's the luggage I would take on any trips longer than a day or if the trip will feature a lot of off road riding. I don't think it's as great or convenient as hard luggage for day-to-day use.

I love the warranty and Mosko seems like a great small company. I'm happy to spend my hard earned money on such a well made piece of kit from a great company.

Amazing Quality and Attention to Detail

The amount of thought and attention to detail that went into making the Reckless 80L V3.0 Revolver system is incredible. I watched the installation / setup video and easily got it to fit nicely on my KTM 890 Adventure R (with the grab handles still on the stock rack!). I can't wait to do my first big ADV trip with them.

No max Tank Bag & 80 liter Revolver

Purchased two items, tank bag and Revolver on my KTM 890 Adventure R. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and convenience of all the engineering that went into my Mosko bags. I’m a first timer purchasing Mosko luggage and I highly recommend them!

Reckless 80L (V3.0) Revolver

The Reckless 80L is designed for off-road riding / camping, Backcountry Discovery Route exploration, and international fly-to-ride trips. The 100% waterproof dry bag system expands and contracts for a variety of load sizes and riding conditions. It doesn't require pannier racks and features adjustable leg angles allowing it to fit enduros and larger ADV bikes, making the v3.0 Revolver our most versatile system yet.

(Download Assembly Instructions here.)

*KTM 690 and Husqvarna 701 customers, please note that the stock exhaust on your bike runs too hot, an aftermarket exhaust is required. Click 'Read More' below for more information under Important Notes.

*Africa Twin customers, please note that the passenger grab handles found on newer Africa Twin models may inhibit the fit of the Reckless 80L on the tail of the bike.

With the Reckless 80L we replicated the traditional three-bag organization and packing system of a touring bike (two side panniers and a rear duffle) for bikes that don’t have pannier racks. If you’re setting up a new bike the Reckless system saves you the added weight and expense of metal side pannier racks.

It’s 100% waterproof and easy to get into, so you don’t have to unstrap everything to get at your lunch or pull out a jacket. The side bags slide and strap into an outer holster which stays attached to the bike. All three main compartments are welded-seam roll-top drybags for total waterproofness. The center top bag is our Stinger 22L Tailbag, which has stashable backpack straps and works great as an airline carry-on or a day pack for short hikes. The side bags are interchangeable and include a clear panel on the front so you can easily find your gear.

In addition to the three main compartments, the R80 Revolver now includes one optional 4L drybag auxiliary pocket (aka Aux Pox) on the back of each leg (two total). These auxiliary pockets are perfect for storing smaller items that you might need quick access to throughout the day. The Aux Pox holsters can be used with or without their roll-top drybags, making them a great place for extra gas bottles, water, tool roll, or inner tubes.

Two overlapping rear beavertails create a convenient spot to tuck a motorcycle jacket when not in use, or to store wet things – like a tent rainfly, towel, or campsite garbage – that you don't want inside your dry bag. The inside panels of the beavertails include a tent pole bag, a removable map pocket, and two reinforced clear pockets for small items like toothbrush/toothpaste. On V3.0, the entire beavertail assembly is removable if you want to use the harness without a rear duffle, thereby reducing the total capacity to 50L (or 58L with two Aux Pox).

If you need more than 80L of space, adding additional storage is easy. The beavertail straps extend to accommodate a second (or larger) top bag. The outside of the beavertail includes a 3-column MOLLE webbing panel, and each leg includes a 2-column panel on the front, with a 3-column panel on the rear. Add Mosko MOLLE pouches, or choose from a wide array of 3rd party MOLLE accessories.

The R80 harness is a 3-piece system, which can be disassembled for an international fly-to-ride trip. The entire system fits conveniently in a rollaboard luggage bag. If you have a crash on a long trip, the various components can be repaired or replaced individually, saving cost and hassle. A foam pad reduces chafe between the harness and the bike, and the harness is armored with Hypalon for abrasion resistance. All R80 drybags are made from 800D polyurethane (PVC free), to stand up to UV and cold weather.

Important Notes

  • Reckless luggage is not resistant to the high heat of your exhaust. Please use the included heat shield, and follow the installation instructions carefully, because exhaust heat damage isn’t covered under warranty.
  • KTM 690 and Husqvarna 701 customers: The stock exhaust on the KTM 690 and Husqvarna 701 runs VERY hot. Although the R80 'Revolver' fits these bikes great, it also traps in a lot of exhaust heat. Even with careful heat shield use, melting of the bike's plastics and the luggage can occur. We're actively testing new heat shield solutions, but for now, an aftermarket exhaust is required for use with the Reckless 80 V3.0 Revolver. We recommend the Arrow brand 690 Enduro and Husqvarna 701 aftermarket exhausts, available from RottweilerPerformance.com - *Ignore this information at your own risk. *Please know strategic heat shield mounting/placement is still required once you have upgraded to an Arrow exhaust or any alternative aftermarket exhaust of your choosing.
  • Contact between soft luggage (no matter how soft) and the plastics or painted surfaces of your bike will cause cosmetic wear to the bike over time because accumulated dirt is abrasive. If that is important try applying a clear protective film (like this or this) to your bike.
  • Different bikes and installation approaches present different wear points to the Reckless 80 harness. After installation, go for a short test ride, then check for wear points. Adjust the harness position, file down sharp rack edges, or apply a sacrificial wear patch as needed. Continue to check for high-wear points over time, but remember that the harness is made to take a lot of abuse. Some visible wear is normal, and in no way does it affect the strength or waterproofness of the luggage.
