Well designed, the perfect strap for motorcycles

I purchased there after using some buckle straps to secure my Mosko 40L duffle to the top of my Tenere 700, they worked, but these are much better. These straps are very versatile, they are well designed and well made. These will last a lifetime.

Rockin’ straps

Received the MM Backcountry Cinch Straps as part of my order, three days before leaving for a 6 week, 11,450mi, round trip, finishing with the TransAmerica Trail. The straps worked better than I expected, were easy to use and adjust, held my Backcountry Duffle securely to the bike, and came in super handy when called to straighten a bent shift lever and bent crash bars. I highly recommend them. They would work on any type of tail bag or rear duffle bag, not just Mosko bags.

Cinch Strap Versatility/ease of use

So happy to see a product that is intuitive on how is supposed to be set up and used. High quality molded metals without any sharped edges (tumbled or removed) and the strap material and stitching seems ready to take the abuse. Key to remember is that even if the straps do not last, the clamps will and you can just replace the straps with other. Highly recommended.

Rest well, and I’d say the soft bags are made in the highest quality material that I’ve seen in the soft baggage lineups. The plastic belt buckles and fasteners are of the highest quality that I’ve seen in soft luggage for motorcycles. The inner liner bag inside the side panners is extremely good, durable, and waterproof with no leaks. Be careful with the top bag over the bike carrier if you have an exhaust muffler close to the top and radiates heat. It may burn a hole through the material and melting portion of the bag from the heat from the exhaust. So I highly recommend a heat shield for your exhaust muffler.

I’ve used these bags for two trips now to Guatemala, Mexico, and Idaho. Put on over 9000 miles, mostly off-road miles in the backcountry of Guatemala, and they’ve held up exceptionally well. When the bike falls over, and it’s not the bike's fault, by the way, the soft bags are much easier on you And your legs. Because these hard planners are not as forgiving as the soft bags are, so the chances of hurting your lower legs are reduced tremendously with the soft bags, I’m getting ready to use the same bags now for a four week trip to Moab and southern Arizona and all off the road. I’m confident the bags won’t be holding me back! More like the rider will be; either way, there are great bags worth money, and I highly recommend them. I would probably say I’ll never repurchase a hard Panner; one last thought is these bags have been mounted on three different bikes, KTM 690R now retired, KTM 790 Adventure R, and now my new Husky 701 LR. I bought additional mounting hardware, so I pulled the bags off one bike and put them on another. I like that. My son-in-law also bought the bags for his new BMW water-cooled bike, and he loves them. He also falls over a lot in the sand, and soft bags aren't killing his caves. Great buy, and you won't be disappointed!

Back country 25 and 35

Awesome luggage, rode section 1-3 of the Mid Atlantic this weekend and they were great. Very stable and easy to use. Had a little rain and I had no issues. Great product that I very happy with.

Backcountry Cinch Straps (pair)

Now even stronger! The Backcountry Cinch Straps are used to secure a rear duffle or pannier topper to your bike. This is our version of the ultimate cinch strap. There are no elastic or plastic parts to break/stretch on a long trip – just high-tensile polyfilament webbing, two metal cam buckles, and features you won’t find in any other strap.

*Priced and sold as a pair

These two-piece straps quickly connect to the bike using lanyard loops, and they also have adjustable-length tails, so they'll work on everything from a large high capacity duffle to a small pannier topper. They include strap keepers, so your excess strap lengths won't flap around in the wind, and the buckles have a webbing backing to prevent damage to the bag/bike.

We designed these straps to function as an emergency tow strap if you have a breakdown (put the rear duffle on your back, worn as a backpack, and use the straps to tow) or an emergency tie-down system if you have to load your bike in the back of someone's truck in a pinch. Check out the product video to see how it works.
